Tuesday, March 3, 2020

Columbus – Based on an investigation by Auditor of State Keith Faber’s Special Investigations Unit, a Coshocton County grand jury today indicted Former Coshocton County Agricultural Society Secretary Pamela Bordenkircher on one count of Grand Theft (F4) and four counts of Theft (F5).

“Public officials who exploit their position to defraud taxpayers had better be prepared to pay the inevitable legal consequences,” Auditor Faber said.

Bordenkircher began working for the agricultural society in August 2013 and resigned October 26, 2015. The indictment alleges that during that time she stole $41,831.10 in cash, funds, and checks. The indictment also alleges she made unauthorized credit card purchases with an agricultural society credit card.

At the request of Coshocton County Prosecutor Jason Given, Auditor Faber’s Special Investigations Unit will be assisting with the prosecution of Bordenkircher.
